Most people know me as Jessica Biffi, the fashion designer.  After graduating from Ryeron's Fashion Design program in 2006, I worked in the industry as a visual merchandizer and stylist.  As some of you may know, I got my big break on a little tv show...maybe you've heard of it, Project Runway Canada?  After competing and becoming runner up (and no, it isn't like Miss America...I don't get to be "in" if the winner has an untimely accident), I launched my brand in 2009.  Building the brand from women's ready to wear to include menswear, plus size and accessories under the label Covet By Biffi, I've had my talents viewed internationally.  As a lady just new to her 30s, I'd say it's been a great start to a career that I thought I was only dreaming of as a little girl playing dress up.  

People that know me best, know me as Biffi.  I'm a Toronto girl with a serious shopping habit.  I love all things gold and shiny, nail art, makeup and all things fashion related.  I'm also a huge dog lover, working on convincing my boyfriend that our lives need a puppy (and occasionally holding my best friend's dog Max, for ransom)!  I see myself as an advocate of body acceptance and feeling confident in the body you have, no matter what size.  Fashion is not about a tiny tag with a number on it, it's about expressing yourself and your personality.  To me fashion is for everyone, and you should make up your own rules.        

Just Biffi is a personal blog about me and my lifestyle.  Here I'll showcase my style, OOTD, my love of plus size fashion, my addiction to all things beauty (seriously...it's like I was raised by drag queens), as well as my growing interests in home decorating and crafting.  I'll also share tutorials, personal adventures, the secret life of a fashion designer and I'm sure so much more!  I want to share a more intimate look into my life and work.  And I hope you'll come to know me as my friends do, as just Biffi.
