Carnival Blossoms
Let’s take one more trip on the floral merry-go-round. This time, my star pony, these incredible Cherry Blossom culottes. Recently, I’ve been obsessed with culottes! They’re the new pant for the season, in my opinion. They’re chic, breezy for the summer and when they’re floral - a great summer statement piece.

I love the colour of these pants. They’re rich and saturated, with delicate pops of pinks in the Cherry Blossoms. I paired them with a crisp white tank, to compliment the lighter tones in the print, without overwhelming the overall aesthetic of the emerald green base.
This look is easy and effortless. The flow of the pant with the ease of the stretch top, keeps the look clean. I wanted the accessories to be simple and fresh, but add something to the total outfit. I picked up this necklace while we were shooting in Guelph, at a cute little home and garden store (remember the bright pink building from a few posts ago?). It’s got an eclectic Iris Apfel vibe - which I am here for. It adds a little elevated touch to an otherwise casual, summer ensemble.
